Rick's Body and Paint works with ALL Insurance Companies. Rick’s Body and Paint provides a LIFETIME WARRANTY no matter who is paying the bill. Rick’s Body and Paint is interested in handling your claim and the repairs efficiently. Also, we are familiar with your insurance company’s claims process and know their local adjusters, making it easy to complete the estimate process and repairs quickly.
When talking to your insurance company, it is a very common practice for them to attempt to “steer” you to their preferred body shop to have the repairs done. Steering is illegal in California; however, it is still a common practice. Do not be intimidated or coerced into taking your vehicle somewhere just because the insurance company wants you to use a particular shop. By law, you have the right to have your vehicle repaired by the repairer of your choice.

What this Guarantee covers
We don't cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper maintenance, neglect, abuse, and/or subsequent accident. Our Guarantee doesn't apply to any work on the vehicle performed by anyone other than Rick’s Body and Paint.
How long this Guarantee lasts
You benefit from the Guarantee for as long as you own or lease your vehicle; but the Guarantee isn't transferable, and we terminate it if you sell or transfer your vehicle.
Caring For Your New Paint
The normal curing period for your new paint is up to 90 days. During this time we recommend keeping the vehicle free of tree sap, bird droppings, or anything that may stain the paint. Feel free to wash your vehicle immediately following repairs; however, it is recommended that you use a soft cloth or a brushless type car wash. During the curing period, please do not use any wax. Droplets of water combined with a bright sun can act like a magnifying glass and burn little spots in the paint. Dry the vehicle with a soft cloth after a rain or washing to avoid that issue
Warranty
The labor performed by Rick’s Body and Paint is guaranteed against any defect in workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle. Rick’s Body and Paint guarantees that for as long as you own your vehicle, we will, at our expense, correct or repair all defects which are attributable to defective or faulty workmanship in the repairs stated on the repair invoice, unless caused by rust, or due to damage resulting from unreasonable use, improper maintenance, or care of the vehicle.
This warranty covers labor only and does not apply to parts, materials, or equipment which may be covered by manufacturer’s warranty.
Rick’s Body and Paint guarantees your paint for LIFE against primer adhesion problems, peeling, blistering and wrinkling, loss of gloss, or shine. Chips, rust, corrosion, nicks, or any road damage are not covered. Lacquer checking is also not covered unless paint is stripped.
